New World Style

The Americas and Australia have something in common even though we're separated by that big ocean - our taste in wine.

Unlike the wines in the Old World (Europe), New World wines are distinctly drinker-friendly.  They're made to enjoy within a few years of bottling, not decades later . . . maybe we're just more into instant gratification!

New World wines are made with more focus on the type of grape rather than the place it's grown.   So it's more about the fruity flavor and easy drinkability of the wine than the tradition and terroir of the producer.

Most of the wine sold everyday is consumed within a few hours of purchase.  It's why New World winemakers give us the kinds of wines they do . . . new world style with plenty of varietal choices and user friendly labeling.

It's wine made for the customer, not the winemaker.

Pop the cork™.
